Disney made history yesterday when its first Hawaiian resort, Aulani, opened on Oahu.
When all phases are complete, Aulani will have 359 traditional hotel rooms and 481 two-bedroom equivalent Disney Vacation Club villas in two towers, each featuring rooms that offer views of the ocean and mountains.
The official Grand Opening Ceremony for Aulani will take place Thursday, September 22.
