Hawaiian Increases Sydney Flight Schedule; 26 Flights Added to Daily Service for April, May

Hawaiian Airlines recently announced that it has added three weekly flights to its existing daily flight schedule for travel between Honolulu and Sydney in April and May to accommodate increased travel demand during this period.

Hawaiian will offer the 26 extra flights from April 3 to June 1 using its largest aircraft, the 294-seat, wide-body Airbus A330-200, adding a total of 7,644 new air seats to the market.

“Demand for our service on the Sydney route is especially strong during this period, so we are taking advantage of the delivery of additional A330 aircraft to increase our capacity when and where it’s needed most,” said Peter Ingram, Hawaiian’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

The schedule for the added flights has Flight HA 435 departing Honolulu on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:05 a.m., crossing the international dateline, and arriving in Sydney at 5:40 p.m. the following day. The return Flight HA 436 will depart Sydney at 8 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Honolulu at 8:45 a.m. the same day, after crossing the international dateline.

Hawaiian’s regularly scheduled daily nonstop service between Sydney and Honolulu is also operated with A330 aircraft.
