Here's a name to remember for Hawaii-bound clients: Lee Collins has been appointed as president of Waikiki Ocean Club, a new floating activities playground moored off Waikiki.
Collins has fourteen years of experience in the visitor industry. He most recently served for six years as vice president of sales and marketing for Polynesian Adventure Tours – Gray Line Hawaii, where he increased sales and reduced costs by redesigning sales methodologies and by reorganizing the company’s operations, communications, strategic planning, budgeting processes and internal team alignment.
Prior to that, he served as vice president of the U.S.S. Missouri Memorial Association. He also served for 20 years in the United States Navy.
Waikiki Ocean Club is a 10,000 square foot offshore playground with a range of ocean-related activities, including snorkeling, paddle boarding, helmet diving and kayaking. Shuttles ferry guests from the pier fronting the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
