Oahu Hotel Welcomes Pets, Supports Local SPCA

The newly launched Paradise Bay Resort on the shores of Kaneohe Bay in Oahu is offering pets and their owners a vacation package with all of the "creature" comforts and the added bonus of benefiting a local animal rescue facility. With the “Pets in Paradise” package, pets stay free during July, August and September, and enjoy plush in-room pet beds, doggie bowls, healthy treats and toys, plus pets and their parents receive half-off spa services.

Best of all, ten percent of the “Pets in Paradise” bookings benefit the Oahu SPCA.

Resort owner Stephanie Ryan is no stranger to making pets a part of peoples’ lives. As founder and president of the Oahu SPCA, the primary animal welfare organization on Oahu that fosters or shelters companion animals, she oversees the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of more than 100 animals each month.

“We’re so pleased we could launch our newly-renovated resort with a pet-friendly package,” said Ryan. “With proceeds of each ‘Pets in Paradise’ booking during July, August and September benefitting animals in need, we’re creating a win-win for people and pets.”

Paradise Bay Resort has top views of the Ko’olau Mountains and Kaneohe Bay. The 40-room boutique bed-and-breakfast style hotel and resort features a range of accommodations, from one-bedroom standard suites to two bedroom waterfront suites. All rooms come with full kitchenettes or wet bars, plush bedding, complimentary daily breakfast, free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking.

The “Pets in Paradise” package is available on all bookings through September 30. A minimum two-night stay is required.
