Carnival Cruise Lines is offering a special two-day cruise onboard the Carnival Pride, departing from the Port of Baltimore on the afternoon of Friday, November 2 and returning the morning of Sunday, November 4.

Rates start at $179 for balcony accommodations, based on double occupancy.

The cruise was made possible due to the cancellation of the Carnival Pride's October 28 departure when Hurricane Sandy forced the closure of Chesapeake Bay to vessel traffic.

The 2,124-passenger Carnival Pride offers three restaurants, full casino gambling, a 14,500-square-foot health and wellness center, a Serenity adults-only retreat, spacious accommodations, supervised programs for kids in three age groups, three swimming pools, a cascading water slide and 18 lounges, bars and nightspots.

Following the voyage, Carnival Pride will resume its regular year-round seven-day schedule from Baltimore, visiting tropical destinations in the Bahamas and Florida.
