Super Bowl XLVI is history. But for those who can't get enough of the National Football League (NFL), Crystal Cruises is offering a spring “NFL Legends" voyage. Departing May 8 from New York, the trans-Atlantic Crystal Serenity sailing  to Dover, U.K., will feature a football-focused Ocean Views panel discussion.

Renowned NFL figures will share their personal stories from decades on the field. They'll also discuss tools for success in any field. Scheduled motivational speakers include:·Don Shula, an NFL Hall of Famer and former coach of the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Colts; Larry Csonka, a Super Bowl MVP and Hall of Fame All-Pro running back for Shula’s undefeated Miami Dolphins and the NY Giants; Jim Tunney, with 30 years experience as an NFL referee; and Dick Vermeil, former Rose Bowl and Super Bowl winning head coach of UCLA, the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams.

“Sports fans know these guys as experts of the pig skin, but they’re also quite wise about the thick skin required to face hurdles in anything,” says Bret Bullock, Crystal’s vice president of entertainment. “All travelers on board can glean powerful coaching and playing tips for whatever game they’re trying to win in life.”

The experts will each host individual sessions, then gather for the Ocean Views panel discussion to share opinions on sports and next season’s predictions. During that Q&A, audience members will be able to weigh-in on topics anonymously during the panel by using individual electronic polling devices that are new for the program this year.
The port-intensive trans-Atlantic itinerary is unusual. Only three of 16 days are spent at sea, with overnights in New York before calls at Newport, Rhode Island; Boston, Massachusetts; St. John’s, Newfoundland; Reykjavik and Heimaey (maiden call), Iceland; Tórshavn/Faeroe Islands, Denmark; Ålesund, Norway; Hellesylt/Geiranger and Bergen, Norway; and London/Dover.
The voyage also marks the start of Crystal Serenity’s new all-inclusive policy. The line will begin serving complimentary fine wines and premium spirits throughout the ship. Pre-paid gratuities for housekeeping, bar and dining staff will be included in the cruise fare.
Until February 28, per-person “Book Now” fares start at $5,055, with air add-ons available from more than 90 North American airports.
