Last week, Holland America Line hosted a charity luncheon for the Catholic Seafareres’ Center, a spiritual support group for crewmembers. Guests were served on the cruise line’s Statendam and were invited to tour the ship afterwards.

The ship, currently docked at the Port of Seattle, offers a variety of itineraries for guests looking to travel to Canada, Alaska and beyond. Travelers can choose a seven-day transpacific crossing, which departs from Vancouver, British Colombia, and arrives in Honolulu, Hawaii. Guests can also travel on a 14-day roundtrip Seattle cruise which highlights Vancouver Island and many destinations in Alaska, including Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Anchorage, Homer, Kodiak, Hubbard Glacier and more. Cruises depart throughout the summer 2015 season and begin at $599 per person.

For guests looking to see a combination of these regions in the United States and Canada, Holland America Line has put together a special 44-day Alaska Explorer & Transpacific Crossing Collectors’ cruise. Departing September 7, this cruise takes guests on a tour of Alaska, Seattle, Vancouver, Hawaii, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Guam, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. Rates start at $3,899 per person for an interior room.
