New Flights to Bhutan Start Fall 2012

Drukair, the Royal Bhutan Airlines, will begin offering service into Paro Internaitonal Airport in Bhutan via Singapore and Mumbai starting September 1, 2012.

“On behalf of the Tourism Council of Bhutan, we are thrilled to offer travelers these additional avenues through which they can visit our magnificent country,” said Mr. Kesang Wangdi, director general, Tourism Council of Bhutan. “The new flight connections through Singapore and Mumbai will make travel into Bhutan easier, and we look forward to welcoming travelers from around the world to experience this exquisite and happy place.”

Flights to Bhutan are currently available from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Thailand.
