Photographers Robert Caplin and Peter Lockley, known for their work in publications like The New York Times, National Geographic, The Washington Times and ESPN the Magazine, are pairing up with the Four Seasons Punta Mita resort for a one-time-only photography event in Mexico.

From October 31 to November 4, 2016, the Four Seasons is welcoming photographers of all skill levels to the property in Riviera Nayarit for a week of master classes, lectures and hands on-excursions from Caplin and Lockley.

Guests will participate in guided workshops, on-location shoots, one-on-one editing and constructive critiques. Caplin and Lockley will lead outings to places including the town of Sayulita, the nature preserves of San Blas, the fish markets of La Cruz and Punta Mita’s best kept surf spots, all while providing their combined expertise in editorial, commercial and portrait photography. Participants will have the opportunity to photograph landscapes, portraits, stories and more, utilizing both natural and artificial light.

Between shoots, guests are invited to take advantage of all that Four Seasons Punta Mita has to offer, including cooking lessons, tequila blending and tasting experiences, water activities and more.

Pricing for the workshop starts at $4,999 for a single participant, which includes all workshop fees, daily breakfast and a Garden View Double Room. Ocean view and beachfront rooms are available for an additional cost. There will be a cocktail reception upon arrival and gourmet farewell dinner at the close of the program. Cameras and additional equipment will be available to check-out and purchase before, during or after the workshop, though it is recommended the photographers bring their own equipment.
