(c) 2011 Mile High Farms

Mile High Farms will open on September 10, and in honor of the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, all first responders and military personnel showing identification will be admitted for free. Located just east of Denver on I-70 in Bennett, the farm will feature two corn mazes, a petting zoo, hayrides, a pumpkin patch, barrel carts, a straw castle, face painting, food and entertainment and more. After dark, teens and adults can enjoy the haunted house or haunted hayride.

The farm will commemorate a special 9/11 Tree to honor service men and women, as well as first responders who have fallen in the line of duty since that tragic day. Visitors will be invited to write the name of their loved ones, which will later be traced by a master wood-carver onto one of the many cottonwood trees gracing the farm.

Owner Dale Ervinis said, “We are passionate about harvesting new family traditions through the exciting and engaging activities we offer. Experiencing fun is a key part of families growing up together, and we are proud to offer a venue for that.”
