Sales of Exotic Destinations Increase at Tauck

Tour operator Tauck World Discoveries is reporting that it has seen dramatic growth in programs visiting destinations like India, Tanzania, Cambodia and the Galapagos Islands. Travel to such exotic destinations is up 46 percent over the last two years with travel to Africa and Asia, in particular, witnessing remarkable growth, officials report. African travel at the company grew 104 percent in 2006, while travel to Asia rose 44 percent. The company made such statements ahead of the release of its 2007 product lineup to what it considers exotic destinations. New products include a 14-day itinerary to Egypt and Jordan and a 15-day journey to Australia and Papua New Guinea.
