Passport Regulations Delayed

New passport regulations mandating that all air travelers entering the U.S. carry passports will be delayed because the Department of Homeland Security missed a critical deadline in the process, the Toronto Star is reporting. Officials had set January 8 as the program's launch date, but DHS says it missed a requirement that the program rules be published 60 days before its start. The rules will be published in the "very, very near future," a DHS official has said.
