The Club at Kukui‘ula Names New General Manager

Nicholas Gold has been named general manager of The Club at Kukui‘ula, a luxury resort and real estate community on the South Shore of Kauai

Gold joins the Kukui‘ula ‘ohana this month, overseeing day-to-day operations of resort in Hawaii — encompassing ocean activities, spa, golf, the farm and dining available to members and guests—as well as overall strategic vision.

Gold came to the United States from Britain in the late ‘80s and began his career in the hospitality industry, traveling widely with notable properties and brands. 

“I am committed to the members and guests here at Kukui‘ula, helping this community grow and evolve,” Gold said in a written release. “I am new to Kauai and am excited to immerse myself into the island culture.  The aloha spirit at Kukui‘ula is truly unique in all the destinations I’ve worked  or visited and I am excited to be part of this project and this family.”

He brings an extensive hospitality and leadership background to Kukui‘ula, having worked with properties such as Amangiri in Utah, Enchantment and Miraval Resorts in Arizona, and Condado Vanderbilt in Puerto RicoGold’s previous experience stems from food and beverage operations to managing destination resorts and spas.   
 
“Nicholas’ well-rounded knowledge of destinations, hospitality and providing a warm, authentic luxury experience perfectly aligns with our values here at Kukui‘ula,” said Kukui‘ula President Richard Albrecht. “We look forward to Nicholas’ refreshing outlook and take on The Club, while still embracing what gives Kukui‘ula such a unique sense of place.”
