Exodus Travels has appointed Katy Rockett as the company's new managing director – North America. Exodus Travels in an adventure tour operator offering itineraries in places ranging from Kilimanjaro, Machu Picchu, and the Ice Hotel to Antarctica.
Rockett opened Exodus’ first dedicated North American office in Toronto in 2014. In the two years since then, Exodus has seen growth in the U.S. and Canadian markets. In her new role, Rockett will build on her initial success in North America and will strengthen Exodus Travels’ position among global adventure tour operators.
One of her top priorities will be to continue developing strong relationships with travel agents. During her tenure as Exodus’s marketing manager, North America, Rockett helped build a loyal customer base among consumers and agents and drove significant traffic and leads through strategic marketing initiatives, Exodus said.
Rockett first entered the travel industry with Intrepid Travel, where she was quickly promoted to marketing and PR specialist before moving to the Intrepid Group as marketing manager.
