Rosewood Little Dix Bay Appoints New Associate Director of Sales

Carolyn Pope has been appointed associate director of sales of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, a popular British Virgin Islands resort that is anticipated to reopen on the island of Virgin Gorda in December following a complete renovation.

In this position, Pope will be responsible for managing relationships and driving revenue from the property’s key travel agency and consortia partners in North America.

“With vast experience in international luxury sales and strong relationships with key travel agency partners, Carolyn will be a wonderful addition to our sales team,” said Andreas Pade, managing director of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, in a written release. “We are confident that Carolyn will play an integral role in re-affirming Rosewood Little Dix Bay as one of the leading ultra-luxury resorts in the Caribbean.”

Pope has more than 10 years of experience working with leisure travel agencies in North and South America selling ultra-luxury lodges and resorts and experiences in the South Pacific to key consortia and wholesale accounts.

Before joining Rosewood Little Dix Bay, Pope served as the marketing manager of the Americas for Visit Victoria in Australia. She was primarily responsible for the development and implementation of Visit Victoria’s sales and marketing strategy which was designed to increase visitation and spend in the region.

Prior to working at Visit Victoria, Pope was with Tourism New Zealand, where she served as a trade development consultant, established relationships with key consortia partners and managed their trade engagement activity.

The renovation includes a complete redesign of the resort’s guest rooms and suites, its three restaurants and overall enhancements to the landscaping. There will also be brand new suites with private plunge pools.
