Employee-owned TravelStore, with eight branch locations throughout California as well as corporate on sites, has promoted Osvaldo Ramos to CEO with full oversight of daily operations. Previously Ramos was CFO and has been with the company for 26 years.
Brian Crawford, senior vice president of IT, was promoted to COO, with oversight of IT, MIS and Corporate Client Services. Crawford has been with the company for 25 years.
Wido Schaefer, founder of the company in 1975, retains his position as chairman and president.
TravelStore said it has grown to become the largest California-based travel management company. The company became employee-owned twelve years ago and is a recipient of the “Best Places to Work” awards in Los Angeles and Sacramento. An ASTA Premium agency, the company is a member of Signature Travel Network and a BCD Affiliate, with 310 staff and affiliates.
