Car rental sales paid off for Vaction.com member Kathy Kyriakopoulos of Freedom Travel Service in Newtown, PA, who has won the grand prize in Hertz’s Corvette ZHZ Sweepstakes. The contest was open to all Hertz Agent Gold Rewards members, who received one entry for each qualifying rental of three-plus days. As the winner, Kyriakopoulos was awarded a Corvette ZHZ rental for one full year. Hertz is Vacation.com’s preferred car rental supplier.
The keys to the Corvette were presented to Kyriakopoulos on October 30 by Pam Wright, CTC, Hertz Division vice president of travel industry and partnership sales; Scott Denequolo, Hertz Travel Industry Division vice president of national accounts; John Lovell, Vacation.com’s vice president of industry relations; and Mike Migliore, Vacation.com’s business development manager for the mid-Atlantic region.
Hertz teamed up with General Motors to add 500 custom-painted Corvette ZHZ models to its airport locations in 24 major metropolitan cities across 14 states and Washington, D.C. Equipped with a 436-horsepower, V-8 engine, the Corvette ZHZ is the newest showcase car in the Hertz Fun Collection, which features a series of sporty vehicles designed to make the drive a key part of the journey.
