Carlson Wagonlit Names O'Neill Prez for Americas

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has promoted Jack O'Neill from chief operating officer to president, North America. CWT North America's annual revenues increased from $2.5 billion in 2003 (the year before O'Neill became COO) to a projected $8.6 billion in 2007. The company cited "a combination of superior client retention, strong new sales and external growth" during O'Neill's COO tenure.

Prior to joining Carlson Wagonlit, O'Neill was president of Maritz Corporate Travel. He has also held management and executive positions with TWA, Braniff Airlines and Burlington Air Express. (AO)
