Kerzner International CEO Dies in Air Crash

Howard "Butch" Kerzner, CEO of Kerzner
International, along with three others, was killed Oct. 11 when the helicopter
they were traveling on in the Dominican
crashed. Kerzner, 42, was surveying
potential development sites when the accident occurred. He is survived by his
wife and two children.

Kerzner was appointed CEO in Jan. 2004 and is the son of Sol
Kerzner, the company's founder and chairman. Paul O'Neil, former CEO of the
company's Paradise Island business,
immediately assumed the position of acting CEO.

The Kerzner family has established The Butch Kerzner
Memorial Fund, which will be used to improve playgrounds and other sports
facilities in public schools in The Bahamas. Donations can be made by check to

Kerzner International Holdings Limited, through its
subsidiaries, is an international developer and operator of destination
