Starwood Promotes Coll to President of North America Division

Starwood Hotels and Resorts has promoted Denise Coll to the position of president of its North America division, the biggest of Starwood's operating divisions. She most recently served as senior vice president of operations for the division. Coll's new role will entail overseeing operations, sales and marketing for more than 450 hotels in the U.S., Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, French Polynesia and the British West Indies. Coll began her career in hospitality 30 years ago with ITT Sheraton Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by Starwood in 1998. (DE)
