hilton ponce golf and casino resort, puerto ricoTo commemorate its 20th anniversary and reinforce its “Younger than Ever” marketing campaign, Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort in Puerto Rico recently announced a $2.5 million investment that includes a full revamping of the beachfront resort’s outdoor leisure facilities, casino upgrades, nightlife options, golf enhancements and a sustainability project to reduce energy consumption.

These renovations, combined with the rooms, dining, meetings and recreation makeover completed late last year represent a $5 million campaign welcoming guests to the “Younger than Ever” Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort.

Families and sun-seekers can take advantage of this Puerto Rico resort’s outdoor facility expansion featuring everything from children’s activities to adult relaxation.  Children of all ages enjoy a new playground, chlildren's pool, water slide, splash park, 18-hole mini golf course and an all-in-one activity center with tennis court, volleyball, shuffleboard, bowling, and more.

Relaxation is on offer with the beachfront resort’s new beach day beds, poolside cabanas, lounge chairs, soothing sun deck, and Jacuzzi.  All this is complemented by new pool area sidewalks, lighting and shower stations.

Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort’s Costa Caribe Casino has also received a significant investment.  Casino goers can enjoy new slot machines and extended 24/7 hours.

In an effort to keep golfers happy, Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club recently debuted a new convenience store, outdoor terrace, and golf course enhancements, while a new golf cart fleet is scheduled to arrive in 2013.

Early next year, the resort plans to unveil a South Beach style lounge and club, as well as a redesign of the lobby bar.  The plan, which will integrate nearly 6,000 square feet of entertainment space, will bring nightlife to a whole new level in Ponce.

The final piece to this year’s investment is a sustainability project scheduled for completion in 2013.  The program is expected to reduce energy consumption with the installation of new cooling towers, solar panels and additional power saving features.

The renovation is part of a larger scope of major projects by individual hotels above standard annual capital expenditures across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide. Beginning in 2011, the projects currently total more than $3 billion during a three-year period.
