Puerto Vallarta gets ready to host their annual Pride celebration, “Pride Vallarta.” The event begins May 24th, 2013 and lasts the three day weekend.
The events will host various LGBT themed activities and experiences, beginning with a cocktail kick-off at Casa Cupula Hotel Boutique and culminating in the Pride Festival, on Sunday, May 26th, at 5 p.m. Other scheduled events include a mass commitment ceremony, fashion show, parade, live music and several beach or club parties.
Most events are centralized in the Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone, the hub of the LGBT community in the city, with a high concentration of LGBT owned establishments and target consumers.
Puerto Vallarta is a member of the International Gay and Lesbian Association and a preferred LGBT destination in the Americas for over 60 years. It's recognized by reputable travel industry names as a LGBT friendly city, including TripAdvisor, Lonely Planet, gay.com, and The Huffington Post.
