W Hotels announced plans to open the W Doha Hotel & Residences in Qatar at the end of 2007. The property will be located in the West Bay of Doha on the Qatar peninsula with 292 rooms, signature restaurants, and an outdoor shisha lounge by the pool, champagne bar and retail space. The W Doha will be the brand's second hotel in the Middle East next to the W Dubai Festival City.
