Brisbane Gets First Four Points Hotel

Good news for travelers headed Down Under: Starwood's Four Points by Sheraton brand has made its debut in Brisbane, Australia. Owned by Felicity Hotel Pty Ltd., the Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is the first globally branded, new-build property to open in the city's Central Business District (CBD) in more than a decade. It is also the brand’s fourth property in Australia, joining Four Points hotels in Sydney, Geelong and Perth.

Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is in a 32-story tower with 246 guest rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi, complimentary bottled water, and the Best Brews local craft beer program.

The new Four Points is close to the city’s key attractions, including the Queen Street Mall, Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Brisbane River and South Bank precinct, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Treasury Casino and Queensland Art Gallery. The hotel is a short taxi ride from Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, a 20-minute drive from Brisbane’s international airport and within easy reach of public transportation options.

For events, the hotel has 3,358 square feet of meeting space as well as an exclusive, covered rooftop venue on level 30 called Altitude (which, we hear, offers top views across the city and river).

To celebrate the opening, Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is presenting a special offer, starting from $149 per room per night, including complimentary in-room Wi-Fi. Starwood Preferred Guest members can also earn double Starpoints® for stays booked through September 3.
