airberlin Rolls Out Travel Agent Incentives

airberlinTo celebrate the upcoming inaugural service from Chicago nonstop to Berlin, airberlin is offering travel agents a booking incentive.

For every airberlin roundtrip ticket from Chicago to Europe booked between January 15th and January 25th, 2013 airberlin is offering travel agents a booking incentive of $25 dollars for every economy class ticket sold for travel from March 23rd through June 15th and September 1st through October 31st, 2013. The booking incentive is doubled for every business class ticket sold for the same booking and travel periods, airberlin said.

Service from Chicago to Berlin commences on March 23, 2013 and is airberlin’s fifth gateway from the U.S. to Germany.

In addition, effective January 14, 2013 airberlin is offering travel agents throughout Los Angeles the opportunity to travel to Europe with airberlin at reduced rates. Fares from Los Angeles to Dusseldorf are offered at $249 and from $274 to other European destinations such as Budapest, Copenhagen, Krakow, Vienna and Zurich. 

Fares quoted are based on roundtrip travel in economy class including fuel surcharges but applicable taxes are additional, airberlin says. Verification of eligibility is required for booking and other restrictions and rules apply. 

The offer is valid for travel agents only and is available for booking as of January 14 through January 31, 2013, airberlin says. The fares are valid for travel from February 1 through March 21 and April 8 through April 30, 2013. To book travel agents must contact the service center at (866) 266-5588, press option 5 during the following hours of operation 9:00AM through 9:30PM EST.
