Apple Vacations reports it is celebrating Travel Agent Appreciation Month throughout May, awarding retailers with opportunities to win rewards and prizes on all new bookings made April 28 – June 6, 2014, for travel through December 15, 2014.
Throughout the six-week promotional period, the following prizes will be awarded, Apple says:
- 100 percent commission to six winners (one per week)
- Two charter air-seat credits to six winners (one per week)
- Lunch for their agency to six winners (one per week)
- A social media “agent shout out” to six winners (one per week)
- iPad minis to six winners (one per week)
Additionally, eight winners will receive a four-night hotel stay for two, one stay from each participating partner.

“Travel agents deserve much of the credit for making Apple Vacations America’s favorite vacation company by embracing our quality products, exclusive vacation flights and value-added incentives,” said Jeff Mullen, president of Apple Vacations. “Travel Agent Appreciation Month is just one of the many ways we give back to the retail community to thank them for their continued confidence and loyalty,” he added.
All agents will automatically earn 1,000 Bonus Royalties Points, valid on all new bookings at participating hotels throughout the promotional period. Apple Vacations is also showing its appreciation for travel agents with independent FAM trip opportunities and $500,000 in consumer advertising directing business to travel agents during the month of May.
Unless otherwise specified, winners will be announced by June 13, 2014.
Bonus Royalties Points are not valid on group bookings or with other Bonus Royalties promotions except Bonus Hotel points. Free stays air credits and other prizes are subject to availability, non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash. Agents are responsible for payment of air-related taxes and fees, reduced $50 fuel surcharge per person and mandatory insurance. W9s are required for all prizes valued over $600., according to Apple Vacations.
