Cruise Holidays International Honors Top Travel Agencies on President's Circle Cruise

s.s. catherineTop travel agency members of Cruise Holidays International recently returned from a President's Circle Cruise.

Twenty Cruise Holidays agencies earned 2015 President’s Circle status based on their overall gross profit or their year-over-year growth the previous year. The honorees cruised aboard Uniworld’s S. S. Catherine from Avignon, France, to Lyon, France, along the Rhône River, November 8 through November 15, 2015.

During the cruise, agency owners Jim Carey, Bill Dieleman and Grace Dieleman were awarded the titles of Wine Ambassadors of Tournon/Tain L’Hermitage. The leaders of both wine regions gave a presentation to the Cruise Holidays President’s Circle attendees. They explained why Carey and the Dielemans were selected as Ambassadors, which included their history and involvement with their communities as well as the important role wine and food has played in their lives. The three Cruise Holidays agency owners were officially recognized as Wine Ambassadors in a ceremony featuring a grapevine from a local vineyard that was tapped on both shoulders.

In addition to visiting the twin cities of Tournon and Tain l’Hermitage, the cruise also allowed guests to enjoy Arles, where Vincent van Gogh painted his masterpieces, and Avignon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. President’s Circle attendees also had an opportunity to explore Viviers, once an important regional capital of France, as well as Lyon with its world-famous food market and examples of medieval and Renaissance architecture.
