Scenic Cruises Offers Early Bird Specials for 2012 Cruise Season

June 24, 2011 By: Adam Leposa

River cruise operator Scenic Cruises is kicking off its 2012 cruise season with a series of Early Bird specials for travel agents who secure reservations on select tours by October 31. For example, with the “Fly Free to Europe” offer agents can save their clients up to $4390 on airfare when reserving a 21-day or more all-inclusive European tour.

“Agents can be assured that their clients will enjoy an unmatched 5-star luxury river cruise, thanks in part to our ScenicEnrich and Scenic FreeChoice programs,” said Glen Moroney, founder and managing director of Scenic Cruises. “Guests experience our superior brand of quality service, exquisite dining, spacious accommodations and the private balcony suites onboard our Scenic ‘Space-Ships,’ as well as fascinating tours of history-rich locations.”

The 2012 season marks the debut of Scenic’s newest ship, the Scenic Crystal, which sails in March 2012. This vessel will be the first to offer the Scenic Sun Lounge, a private outdoor balcony that becomes weatherproof at the push of a button.

Also new in 2012 are two river cruises in Russia: the 15-day Imperial Jewels of Russia River Cruise from St. Petersburg to Moscow, and the 19-day Imperial Jewels of Russia River Cruise and Ukraine. For these cruises Scenic has chartered the Sergey Kutchkin, a ship where 70 percent of its staterooms and suites have their own private balconies. It also boasts satellite TV, an in-room safe, minibars and the 58 square meter Imperial Suite- the largest on European waterways. Each voyage has an onboard Scenic Tours cruise director, as well as five English-speaking program directors.

The other ships of the Scenic fleet boast staterooms and suites that are almost one-quarter larger than those on other river cruise ships, superb cuisine and local entertainment. The “FreeChoice” all-inclusive pricing means that these all-inclusive fares encompass all sightseeing, dining, highlight events, optional tours, tips and gratuities- no hidden costs.

The featured 2012 River Cruise itineraries are:

Eight-day Tulip Time River Cruise- Amsterdam to Amsterdam
Eight-day Gems of the Danube River Cruise- Nuremburg to Budapest
12-day Black Sea Explorer- Budapest to Budapest
15-day Jewels of Europe- Amsterdam to Budapest
