Tauck Central Europe River Cruise Itinerary Updates

As high river levels have persisted in Central Europe, they have forced unforeseen changes and challenges to Tauck's river cruises and land tours. Tauck is continuing to monitor information from its operations team and travel partners in the affected areas and will provide updates as they receive new information.

Due to the unprecedented flooding throughout areas of Central Europe, Tauck has decided to make the following necessary itinerary changes.

River Cruise Update:

Tauck has cancelled following 2013 departures:

The Blue Danube-Eastbound: May 30

The Blue Danube- Westbound: June 6

Grand European Cruise- Southbound: June 2

Amsterdam to Budapest by Riverboat - Southbound: June 2

Budapest to the Black Sea-Eastbound: June 14. As the surge of the Danube River is expected to pass Budapest Monday or Tuesday, and the impact of the surge as it heads from Budapest to the Black Sea is unknown at this time, Tauck has cancelled this departure.

River Cruises operating with modifications:

Rhine and Moselle – June 7: Tauck's vessel, the ms Swiss Jewel, was forced to stay in Mannheim, several hours away.
