Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is offering six new itineraries on four of its ships to sail along France’s Siene, Sône, Rhône, Garonne, Gironde and Dordogne Rivers in 2017.

In March 2017, Uniworld is inaugurating its new S.S. Joie de Vivre with an eight-day Paris & Normandy itinerary. Following Paris & Normandy, the S.S. Joie de Vivre will also sail three longer itineraries, A Portrait of Majestic France, Grand France and Ultimate France. The ship will become the first super ship to sail and dock on the Seine River in the heart of Paris, and will feature décor reflecting the ship’s name, “joy of life.”

A new 10-day France itinerary titled Paris & Impressions of the Seine will also be launched by Uniworld in 2017, sailing the French countryside on the River Baroness. Travelers will be immersed in the essence of French Art de Vivre in landscapes that inspired Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet. The sailing will pass sights like Paris’ historic Montamartre, vistas of the Alabaster coast, D-Day landing beaches and the American cemetery, the Norman cider route, Versailles palace gardens and a variety of Paris’ monuments and avenues.

Uniworld is further extending its commitment to France via the S.S. Catherine and the River Royale, which will sail two of the company’s most popular itineraries in 2017, Burgundy & Provence and Bordeaux, Vineyards & Châteaux

Onboard Uniworld River Cruises, guests can expect to experience a variety of the country’s culinary delights with special wine tastings and cooking classes, as well as lectures and old stories covering history from romantic tales to famous artworks and historical sites.
