Continental to Service Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, West Palm Beach, FLBeginning February 17, 2011, Continental Airlines will debut daily nonstop service between Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Florida's Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and West Palm Beach (PBI), as well as service between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Fort Lauderdale. Flights will include four between Chicago and Fort Lauderdale, four between Chicago O'Hare and West Palm Beach and two between Denver and Fort Lauderdale.

From Chicago O'Hare to Fort Lauderdale, both flights will run on a 737-800 aircraft, the first departing at 8:50 a.m. to arrive at 12:50 p.m. The second flight will depart at 2:35 p.m. to arrive at 6:35 p.m. Leaving Fort Lauderdale for Chicago, two flights will also operate on 737-800 aircraft. The first will depart at 11:35 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., while the second will depart at 4:35 p.m. to arrive at 6:40 p.m.

One flight will operate from Chicago to West Palm Beach, aboard a 737-900ER, leaving at 1:20 p.m. to touch down at 3:38 p.m. From West Palm to Chicago, one flight will leave at 1:20 p.m. to arrive at 3:38 p.m., also aboard 737-900ER.

Between Denver and Fort Lauderdale, service will run on a 737-900ER, departing Denver at 10:45 a.m. to arrive at 4:29 p.m. Then, service will depart Fort Lauderdale to Denver at 5:25 p.m. to arrive at 8:02 p.m.

Currently service to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach is available from New York, Houston and Cleveland, as well as through Continental Connection service operated by Gulfstream, from Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach to Florida and destinations in the Bahamas.
