Interjet to Offer New Non-Stop Flights to and From Mexico City

Interjet has announced it will begin non-stop service between Mexico City and Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Chicago.

The Mexico to Los Angeles flights will start October 20, while Mexico to Las Vegas will start November 10 and Mexico to Chicago will begin on November 17. The flights represent an offering of 5,250 weekly seats to the new destinations.

Mexico-Los Angeles and Mexico-Chicago will have flights twice daily, while Mexico-Las Vegas will operate once per day. Tickets are now available for sale at an introductory fare, starting at $250 round trip to Los Angeles (LAX), $299 round trip to Chicago (ORD) and $279 to Las Vegas from Mexico City, taxes included.

The flights will be operated with 150-seat capacity Airbus A-320s, equipped with the latest technology and more leg room thanks to its 34 inch pitch between rows. Interjet also checks up to 50 kilograms of baggage per guest, free, including sports equipment and pets. Flights also offer women-only restrooms and permanent discounts for older adults, in addition to complimentary snacks and beverages in flight.

The new flights are in addition to the 14 routes the airline currently operates between Mexico and the United States. Other destinations include Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Miami, New York, San Antonio and Orlando-Sanford. Interjet also flies from Los Angeles to Guadalajara, Mexico.
