Virgin America and South African Airways (SAA) have implemented an interline agreement for travel across their United States and transatlantic routes.
Effective today, the agreement allows travelers to buy interline tickets for travel between the U.S. and South Africa through SAA’s customer call center (800-722-9675) and through all major Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Baggage transfers will be automatic for customers with connecting flights.
As a result of this new partnership, flyers of SAA can now connect to several new Virgin America destinations, including: New York (JFK), Washington, D.C. (IAD), San Francisco (SF), Los Angeles (LAX), Las Vegas (LAS), San Diego (SAN), and Seattle (SEA).
