JetBlue launches twice daily coast-to-coast service from Los Angeles (LAX) to New York (JFK) and Boston.
The New York-based carrier already offers flights to the East Coast and other locals from the airports in Long Beach and Burbank.
Schedules for those flights remain unchanged. But now JetBlue has
expanded its services to include twice daily cross country flights from
the coast's busiest airports.
To celebrate the new service, today through June 26, JetBlue is
offering a special $109 online sale fare between LAX and JFK or Boston
for travel between September 8 and November 11, 2009.
JetBlue's new LAX service will be operated with the airline's spacious
Airbus A320, which offers seating for 150 including the most legroom in
coach of any U.S. airline. Customers can upgrade to an Even More
Legroom seat for an additional $40.
Jet Blue is also celebrating their 'Let the Music Play' campaign with long-standing partner, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation,
mobilizing people all over the country to make a donation to support
music education in public schools in New York, Boston and Los Angeles
at www.VH1SaveTheMusic.com/JetBlue. JetBlue pledges to match up to
$30,000 donated through the campaign.
