Avoya Travel, a marketing and travel technology company, has announced that new independent agencies are joining the Avoya Travel Network at the fastest pace in more than a decade, resulting in the best sales year in company history.
The number of new independent agencies affiliating with the Avoya Network in the fourth quarter of 2016 was up 100 percent over the same period in 2015, while the high network growth continued with January 2017 up 175 percent compared to January 2016.
Avoya said it attributes the growth to its “Shared Success” business model, which focuses on promoting the belief that both customers and suppliers can benefit from the value that travel agents provide in planning and booking vacations and cruises. Avoya’s “Let’s Reimagine Vacation Planning Together” and “Beyond the Web” brand campaigns have been effective in promoting travel professionals as a modern, valuable necessity to the vacation booking process, according to the company.
Several developments were recently introduced to increase the success of independent agencies and contributed to the record Avoya Network growth, including enhanced professional educational programs and Avoya University, Live Leads (an optional Avoya program) and the recently launched Agency Marketing Platform (AMP) that offers independent agencies a marketing solution which has increased sales by up to 54 percent.
