Ensemble Travel Group is expanding its portfolio of exclusive products for members with the introduction of its newest Ensemble Inspired Journeys departure in 2010: Jewels of the Caribbean. Custom-designed for clients whose interests include fine gemstones and jewelry, the voyage is a seven-night yachting experience aboard SeaDream II, departing January 17 from Charlotte, Amalie, St. Thomas to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
During the cruise, guest expert Susan Jacques will share her in-depth knowledge of gemology with Jewels of the Caribbean guests through a series of onboard lectures and a complimentary Inspired Journeys event ashore, featuring hands-on demonstrations of local artisans designing unique jewelry with native materials.

For 2010, we chose a shorter, closer-to-home itinerary, but one that still delivers an unforgettable, authentic experience – especially when coupled with the very personal and intimate yachting experience of the much-celebrated SeaDream II.”
Ports of call for the January 2010 departure include Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands; Gustavia, St. Barthelemy; Charleston, Nevis; Little Bay, Montserrat; Marigot, St. Martin; Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Many of the land activities are focused on water sports and the spectacular natural scenery including volcanic rock formations in Virgin Gorda and Little Bay and the rain forests in Charlestown.
“Based on the success we’ve had in 2009 with Susan Jacques and the interest we’re seeing for 2010, we are looking to expand the Jewels series in 2011, either by land or sea in South America or India,” said Gannon.
