Golden Tulip has named Kees Van Maaswaal, now managing director of Accor Hotels for the Netherlands, chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1. Van Maaswaal will oversee the four regional divisions of Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts: Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia and the Americas.
