The IT Group has slated four preferred vendor ‘round-table’ seminars to be held on both coasts at the end of March, according to Mike Caplin, vice president. Each event will begin with dinner and then include six presentations in a ‘sales call’ format put on by the consortium’s preferred partners. Vendors participating are: Trafalgar Tours, Celebrity Cruises, Centrav, NCL, Travel Connection, Uniworld, Holland America, Brian Moore International Tours, Travel Insured International, Travel Impressions and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Don Gould, CEO of the IT Group, said that these annual training events are more vital than ever during challenging times and looks forward to seeing a large turnout for all of the sessions. Gould said that preferred supplier relationships are the foundation for the success of the IT Group Network and its travel agency members.
Dates and locations are: March 24 – Walnut Creek, CA; March 25 – Sacramento, CA; March 31 – Brooklyn, NY; and April 1 – Iselin, NJ. The presentations are open to all IT Group members and prospective members.
