Previously, James was general manager of Casa del Mar in Los Cabos, where he oversaw the complete renovation of the hotel. He also served as director of sales and marketing at Toronto's first city-center hotel, Pantages Suites, as well as managed hotel properties in Isla Mujeres and Cancun.
