Silversea Restructuring

Albert Peter, who served as Silversea's CEO for six years, is transitioning to another post within the company and Amerigo Perasso has been promoted to become Silversea's president, the luxury cruise line announced Friday. Perasso, now responsible for all day-to-day operations, joined Silversea in 1997 and was appointed chief financial and revenue officer in 2004. "Our promotion of Amerigo Perasso to president is a result of our trust in his ability to maintain the core management that has been a key element in our profitability and to further strengthen the team, allowing the company to continue its growth and expansion," said Manfredi Lefebvre, chairman of Silversea Cruises Holdings. Peter assumes the position of deputy chairman of Silversea Leisure and Travel, an affiliate company based in Monaco, which focuses on investment opportunities in the travel and leisure markets.
