Vacation.com Reveals Plans for Annual Conference

Vacation.com will present an extensive lineup of training and supplier seminars at their 11th International Conference & Trade Show, June 16-20 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, substantially increasing the number of learning opportunities for attendees, the agency group said.

“During a time when other organizations are reducing the content of their annual meetings, we are continuing to move forward and provide more for our members,” said Lauraday Kelley, Vacation.com’s vice president of conference and corporate communications.

Vacation.com’s products will take center stage at the conference in order to highlight several key enhancements, including Beguiler’s upcoming airline displays, the Engagement marketing program’s ability to target travelers with discretionary income and new client acquisition programs via e-Engagement plus.

“Our members should be interested in learning first hand about these enhancements, especially EZguider’s new air functionality,” said Steve Tracas, Vacation.com’s president and CEO. “Many of our members do not have a GDS. With EZguider, a free member benefit, they will have the power to book scheduled air without a GDS contract, monthly fees or productivity goals, in order to better service their clientele”

Attendees will have multiple opportunities to train on EZguider and other exclusive products such as e-Engagement plus. Starting June 16 a Pre-Conference Training day will kick off more than 100 hours of training classes. This includes an Owner/Manager Think Tank hosted by marketing guru Mike Marchev. Other top educators to take the stage at Conference include Nolan Burris, Mark McMullen, Stuart Ellis-Myers and Scott Koepf.

Attendees will also be able to garner key insights from Vacation.com’s Preferred Suppliers. There will be twice as many supplier sessions than last year, as well as a VIP Industry Panel.

Entertainment will include Broadway performers from Keith Prowse, a lively show from Royal Caribbean International, a reception and wine tour at the famed Lake Las Vegas Resorts and a festive outing at the Miracle Mile Shops where agents will enjoy discounted shopping, private receptions and free tickets to the V Theater.

“When you work as hard as our members do during the day at Conference, you need to focus on fun at night to balance things out. This year, we are taking this concept to a whole new level,” said Kelley. Members should visit www.AgentNet.com/conference for full details and to register for the event.
