Exclusive: Saint Lucia's Jade Mountain Joins Virtuoso

It's tough to pick the most romantic destination in the Caribbean, but Saint Lucia's Jade Mountain is certainly in the running as one of the region's most desirable luxury properties, especially since it was just welcomed into the exclusive Virtuoso fold.

Travel Agent met with Owner Karolin Troubetzkoy, who also owns sister property Anse Chastanet. Troubetzkoy tells us that Jade Mountain has been able to position itself as one of the forefront properties in Saint Lucia. With its location overlooking the iconic Piton Mountains, any picture in any magazine of the property not only shows off the luxurious AAA Five Diamond accommodations, but also does wonders for Saint Lucia marketing.

"The prime minister of Saint Lucia paid a visit to the property and presented us with a plaque acknowledging our work for Saint Lucia tourism," Troubetzkoy tells us. "We are setting a new standard of luxury." Note: The resort's Celestial Terrace also played host to the 'Bachelor' when he made his televised proposal.

Jade Mountain is comprised of 29 suites, 24 of which have private pools and five with Jacuzzis. The smallest room category still measures at an expansive 1,650 square feet. With open-air views of the ocean, in-room dining and even private diving instruction offered in-room, some guests find it hard to leave. "The record for longest time in a room for a guest is five days," Troubetzkoy tells Travel Agent.

We were provided with some never-before-seen photos of the property. Check them out below and visit www.jademountain.com.
