JetBlue Launches Mint Service to St. Lucia

JetBlue Airways recently launched seasonal Mint flights to St. Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), offering a business class option for those who want to upgrade their trip from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to the island.

In this cabin, clients can enjoy lie-flat seats,a massage feature, and cushions with adjustable firmness. Direct roundtrip flights will operate every Saturday through spring of 2017, with one daily flight during peak holiday travel dates.

JetBlue’s other seasonal Mint destinations in the Caribbean are Aruba, Barbados, Grenada and St. Maarten. The service to all of these destinations is offered on flights out of JFK, plus on flights from Boston to Aruba and Barbados. Mint seats start at $599.

Mint was rolled out in 2013 on flights between New York and San Francisco and Los Angeles, and initially expanded to the Caribbean in November 2015. The airline’s Caribbean markets are among the most popular destinations for U.S. travelers in the region, and all appeal to the kinds of high-end travelers who would be willing to pay a premium for the Mint cabin.
