Savills Hospitality Group, a U.S.-based unit of an international real estate services firm, has been retained by Jalousie Ltd. as its exclusive advisor to assist in raising joint venture equity or debt for the expansion of Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort in St. Lucia, West Indies.
Formerly known as The Jalousie Plantation, Sugar Beach is an 18th-century, British Colonial-style resort set within a roughly 125-acre estate in the valley of the Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site.

The resort currently features 78 guestrooms, six restaurants, white-sand beach frontage, a world-class spa and numerous recreational amenities. The property has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation since its acquisition in 2008. The transformation to Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort was completed in 2012.
Plans call for the addition of 36 keys, with a combination of Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms and Luxury Villas, including two Luxury Treehouse Villas.
