St. Lucia Gets Nonstop Flights From New Jersey From United Airlines

st luciaThe Saint Lucia Tourist Board has announced that United Airlines will begin weekly non-stop service between Newark International Airport (EWR) and Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) in St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Service will begin Saturday, July 13. 

Flights will depart Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturdays at 8:55 a.m., arriving at Hewanorra at 1:48 p.m.; return flights on Saturdays will depart St. Lucia at 2:38 p.m. and are scheduled to arrive in Newark at 7:33 p.m.

The new route offers connections to 22 U.S. cities via Newark, including Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C.

“This new partnership with United Airlines will help make St. Lucia even more accessible for travelers from many of the island’s major gateways in the northeast, mid-west and west coast as well as provide added convenience for connections with a number of new markets," said Louis Lewis, director of tourism for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board.

“As one of the Caribbean’s most desirable destinations, Saint Lucia is a welcome addition to United’s network in the region,” said Millie Uriarte, United’s director, Latin America Onshore and Caribbean sales.
