St. Lucia's BodyHoliday to Offer Wine Experiences

BodyHoliday, St. Lucia's all-inclusive wellness resort, will reopen in September sporting a brand new oenophile indulgence experience. The luxury Caribbean resort, which closed in early July to undergo a $20 million renovation, will emerge with a brand new wine cellar and wine room.

We heard that the cellar will boast an extensive 5,000-bottle collection, which will be used in crafting tasting menus to be paired with nightly dinners in the completely redone Cariblue restaurant. Travel Agent met with Marketing Director Andrew Barnard, a former member of the Francis Ford Coppola wine team, who could not be more excited to share his passion with the family-run resort.

In addition to the wine cellar and wine room, the resort's renovation will include a $1 million-Penthouse Suite, which will sit directly on the waterfront with uninterrupted views straight out to sea. The Penthouse will feature a rotating TV (the only room with a TV on the property), a wet bar, walk-in shower, raised tub and outdoor balcony. But the pièce de résistance is the in-room Hammam spa, which was entirely hand carved in Turkey. The Hammam comes with its own steam room, as well.
