Funjet Offers Flexible Transfers on Mexico and Caribbean Vacations

September 30, 2011 By: George Dooley Travel Agent

Funjet Vacations now offers completely flexible transfers – the most convenient, cost effective, and safest way for travelers to get to their hotel. With the enhancements, Funjet says it has succeeded in making quoting vacations and selling transfers entirely flexible, allowing travel agents to satisfy various customers’ needs.

This announcement comes on the heels of the news of Funjet's cash incentive, which gives agents the opportunity to earn $10 bonus cash when booking upgraded transfers in Mexico and the Caribbean.

As a result of the enhancements, transfers are now automatically added to Mexico and Caribbean vacations after the air and hotel are selected in VAX VacationAccess, along with the flexibility to quote with or without transfers in the base price.

Since most online vacation companies do not include transfers in their pricing, this makes it easy for travel agents to compare similar components for their customers who may have shopped online. By adding transfers to Mexico and Caribbean vacations, agents are sure to offer clients the best care and service. Funjet says.

While agents can now enjoy completely flexible transfers, clients can continue to enjoy their numerous benefits. This includes speedy and stress-free transportation to the resort with the comfort of a modern air-conditioned fleet, safe and secure travel with a professional, English-speaking staff, peace of mind while in the destination, and a selection of affordable options, Funjet says.

“Funjet works with only the best in-destination support teams that truly make a difference in the vacation care we provide not only for transfers, but also tours, activities, and helping customers 24 hours with their needs in destination, “ says Andrea Risch, Funjet Vacations vice president.

Being able to offer the best care and service also means having options for upgrading. Transfer upgrade options can easily be found in one click right from the booking engine. Upgrading to nonstop or private transfers can provide customers a VIP experience and give them a fantastic start to their vacation.

As an added bonus, Funjet introduced a limited-time cash incentive. Travel agents can automatically earn $10 bonus cash per reservation with an upgraded transfer in Mexico and the Caribbean through October 31st. This gives agents the opportunity to provide an enhanced client experience and maximize their earning potential. To be eligible for this offer, participants must be members of Fun For Life, Funjet Vacations’ Agent Rewards Program. Cash is automatically tracked through the program making earning easier than ever.

Like many enhancements, Funjet says the changes were the direct result of listening closely to travel agent feedback. Agents indicated that they were looking for an easier way to find the best transfer option for their customers, which in some cases, meant the flexibility to remove the transfer. Previously, transfers were automatically included in Mexico and Caribbean vacation package pricing without a removal option.
