At DEMA, St. Kitts Tourism Board Vows to Work More Closely With Travel Agents

The St. Kitts Tourism Board was in attendance at this year’s DEMA Show in Orlando, Florida, which took place November 6-9. 

At their booth on the show floor, the St. Kitts Tourism Board reported it plans to work more closely with travel agents in the coming year.

Educational programming at this year’s DEMA Show focused on technology and digital marketing as well as key industry trends. Steve Huskey, CEO, High 5 Promotions, offered tips on using Google and YouTube to help generate leads and build customer loyalty and using social media automation to save time. Beth Ziesenis of AskBethZ.com gave top tips and tricks to spice up e-mail newsletters. 

Rick Segel, president of Rick Segel & Associates, shared advice on how to deal with “showrooming,” a practice where customers will shop in stores in order to gather information before making a final purchase from an online competitor. Steve Weaver, CEO of Dream Weaver Travel, spoke on “Selling the Dive Travel Experience.”
