Speaking as a road-trip veteran, it isn't always easy to know where the good spots to pull over and look around are. There was that time in Northern California when I was lured to drive through a tree. Sure, it sounded intriguing at the time, but then I got there and it was just that - a giant hole through the trunk of a tree...and the tire marks in the dirt of the million-or-so other tourists who thought it would be just as unusual as I did.
