Las Vegas Sands Corp. announced its plans to open the first phase of its $5.5 billion Singapore project, Marina Bay Sands, on April 27.
The soft-opening will include an expected 963 hotel rooms, part of the shopping mall and convention center, celebrity chef restaurants, other dining outlets and the casino.
The grand opening will take place on June 23 and that will include the Sands SkyPark, the Event Plaza, more shops, additional dining options and nightlife choices. Coming in October, Disney's "The Lion King" will take the stage at one of the two theaters. December will bring the Marina Bay Sands museum.
